Rent an infusion pump or syringe pump for hospital or home-care use. The rental covers the equipment only; installation, programming and clinical supervision must be handled by a qualified nurse according to the treating doctor’s prescription.
Important: Only the pump equipment is included in the advertised rental. Medicines, infusion sets, syringes, tubing, cannulas, consumables, delivery, nursing and other clinical services are not included.

One-time nurse installation and guidance — ₹2,000
A qualified nurse can be arranged for one installation visit and basic caregiver guidance. The nurse will set up the equipment using the treating doctor’s written prescription and prescribed parameters.
This charge is separate from equipment rent and does not include ongoing nursing care, repeat visits, medicines or consumables.
Delivery and consumables
Delivery and return charges depend on the location and are confirmed before booking. Required medicines and patient-use consumables must be arranged separately as advised by the treating doctor or nurse.
Who may require an infusion or syringe pump?
A treating doctor may advise controlled infusion equipment when fluids or prescribed medicines need to be delivered at a specified rate. Pumps may be used in hospitals, critical-care settings or suitably supported home-care environments.
The choice of pump, medicine, concentration, route, rate and duration is a clinical decision. Okto Healthcare rents equipment but does not diagnose a patient, prescribe treatment or independently set or change infusion parameters.
How the rental process works
- Share the doctor’s prescription, required pump type and prescribed settings.
- Confirm availability, rental duration and the Bangalore delivery location.
- Complete the rental documentation, payment and refundable deposit.
- Receive the checked, cleaned and disinfected equipment.
- Have the pump installed and programmed by your qualified nurse, or request the optional ₹2,000 nurse visit.

Safe use and practical guidance
- Use the pump only under the direction of a qualified doctor and trained nurse.
- Do not start, stop or change the infusion rate or other prescribed settings without clinical instructions.
- Place the equipment on a dry, stable and well-ventilated surface, away from water and excessive heat.
- Plan for a reliable electrical supply and suitable backup as advised by the clinical team.
- If an alarm occurs, the infusion stops or the equipment appears to malfunction, contact the attending nurse immediately and contact Okto Healthcare for equipment support.

What is the infusion or syringe pump rental price?
The equipment rental is ₹600 per day with a minimum rental period of 5 days. The minimum rental charge is therefore ₹3,000. A ₹1,000 refundable deposit also applies.
Does the rental price include installation?
No. The advertised price covers only the equipment. Installation and settings must be completed by a qualified nurse according to the treating doctor’s prescription.
Can Okto Healthcare arrange a nurse?
Yes. A nurse can be arranged at ₹2,000 for one-time installation and basic guidance. Ongoing care, repeat visits, medicines and consumables are not included.
Are syringes, tubing and medicines included?
No. Medicines, syringes, infusion sets, tubing, cannulas and other patient-use consumables must be arranged separately.
Can Okto Healthcare decide or change the pump settings?
No. Settings must follow the treating doctor’s written instructions and be entered or changed by a qualified nurse or authorised clinical professional.
Is delivery included?
